NOTICE OF PROPOSED TAX INCREASE WEBER AREA DISPATCH 911 AND EMERGENCY SERVICES DISTRICT

The WEBER AREA DISPATCH 911 AND EMERGENCY SERVICES DIS is proposing to increase its property tax revenue. The WEBER AREA DISPATCH 911 AND EMERGENCY SERVICES DIS tax on a $516,000 residence would increase from $46.26 to $48.51, which is $2.25 per year. The WEBER AREA DISPATCH 911 AND EMERGENCY SERVICES DIS tax on a $516,000 business would increase from $84.11 to $88.21, which is $4.10 per year.

If the proposed budget is approved, WEBER AREA DISPATCH 911 AND EMERGENCY SERVICES DIS would receive an additional $275,000 in property tax revenue per year as a result of the tax increase.  If the proposed budget is approved, WEBER AREA DISPATCH 911 AND EMERGENCY SERVICES DIS would increase its property tax budgeted revenue by 4.87% above last year's property tax budgeted revenue excluding eligible new growth.  The WEBER AREA DISPATCH 911 AND EMERGENCY SERVICES DIS invites all concerned citizens to a public hearing for the purpose of hearing comments regarding the proposed tax increase and to explain the reasons for the proposed tax increase.  You have the option to attend or participate in the public hearing in person or online.
