R.A.D. Women's Self-Defense Course

The R.A.D. System of Self-Defense

The mission of the R.A.D. Systems is to establish an accessible, constantly improving and internationally respected alliance of dedicated instructors. These instructors in turn, will provide educational opportunities for women, children, men and seniors to create a safer future for them.

“In doing this, we challenge society to evolve into an existence where violence is not an acceptable part of daily life.”

The R.A.D. Class with the Weber Morgan County Sheriff's Offices

The R.A.D. Women's self-defense course with the Weber & Morgan County Sheriff's Offices is open to all women ages 12 and up. This comprehensive course is $75 per participant. This is not a martial arts program, but rather an opportunity to learn what a woman's personal weapons are and how to use them. This course is a 16 hour self-defense course with simple-to-learn techniques. It teaches 27 hands on techniques in addition to 14 Kubaton techniques through the Key-chain defense option. The 16 hour course is broken down into 5 days with 3 hours each day and 4 hours on the last day of class. A portion of class time will be spent on risk reduction strategies and safety, while the majority of time in class will be spent on learning the physical self-defense techniques. The final day consists of a simulation exercise as an opportunity to practice the techniques the students have been taught in a controlled situation with an instructor as an aggressor.

R.A.D. is the only existing program with a free lifetime return and practice policy, honored worldwide, simply bring your manual back with you to any of our scheduled R.A.D. classes and continue sharpening your self-defense techniques! Our instructors are nationally certified in the basic R.A.D. systems of self-defense for women.

R.A.D. is the only self-defense system to be endorsed by the International Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators (IACLEA), National Academy of Defense Education, the National Self-Defense Institute (NSDI), the Clery Act and Redman Training Gear.
