Transportation

The Transportation Unit is responsible for all scheduled movement of inmates outside of the secure facility and Video Court Bailiff duties.

Deputies perform video court bailiff services for the District Court, all local Justice Courts and numerous allied Courts throughout the state, to include the Board Of Pardons. Over 6,500 inmates were seen via video court in 2015.

13,500+ inmates were transported by transportation staff in 2015.

  • Transfers to the Utah State Prison / Utah State Hospital
  • Medical / Dental Appointments

  • Transfers between 12th Street & Kiesel Facilities
