Patrol and Traffic Enforcement

The Weber County Sheriff's Office serves eight contracted cities and all unincorporated areas of Weber County. Many specialty units have been created to better serve all communities in Weber County including a Marine Patrol, Motorcycle Unit, Community Resource Unit, School Resource Unit and K-9 Unit. In addition, they assist with detail assignments for the U.S. Forest Service and special event functions throughout Weber County.

In the year 2015, our patrol officers responded to over 30,000 calls for service which prompted the officers to write over 14,000 case reports. which included, but were not limited to, assaults, agency assists, alcohol offenses, burglaries, citizen assists, thefts, traffic accidents, and major emergency incidents. The officers also made over 6,500 traffic stops. If you are interested in seeing specific stats for one of our contract cities, please check out the Communities tab.
