Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
For Corrections positions - must be 18 ½years old to start the application process
- (must be 19 years old at the time ofcertification)
For Enforcement positions - must be 20 ½years old to start the application process
- (must be 21 years old at the time of certification)
Pass Comprehensive background check
- No Marijuana use for last 12 months
- No illegal drug use or illegal prescription use for last 5 years
Pass Weber County Sheriff’s Office PT Entrance Test for the academy
Pass Written Basic Skills Job-Related Entrance Exam
